22.01.2016 Alexandra Mirtcheva won the special prize for the most committed people management leader.

Alexandra Mirtcheva, member of the Board of Directors and Director of Corporate Policies Committee of VM Finance Group was announced “the most committed people management leader of the year”. She received special prize from the Bulgarian Association for People Management (BAPM) on its annual awards.

The valuable prize was given to Alexandra Mirtcheva for her crucial personal contribution to the creation and implementation of a project, which covered all key HR processes of VM Finance Group – goal setting and performance evaluation, variable remuneration system, career development, mobility and succession planning, talent management, training system, human capital efficiency, knowledge assessment on corporate policies and rules, grading and basic remuneration, cascading key indicators. Project implementation led to processes renewing and progress acceleration of the 11 companies of the group in which work over 1200 employees. “Manager” magazine and the websites “Manager News” and “Obekti.bg” are part of VM Finance Group.

“Mrs. Alexandra Mirtcheva has not only provided her personal support for the project, but she has also defended this challenging transformation in front of the Board of Directors and the senior management of the 11 companies in the group."

This is an extremely difficult task as the investment is large and the return is postponed in time” said the organizers of the annual HR reward of the Bulgarian Association for People Management. They also added the following:

“The commitment of Alexandra Mirtcheva to people management and the changes in the employees’ management and development policies in VM Finance Group achieved by her are a great example for all Bulgarian companies."

Here are the other winners:

  • Raiffeisenbank won the prize for the best HR project of big company for their project of global human resources management transformation in the organization;
  • Svetlana Valeva and Nadezhda Danabasheva – HR consultants, won a prize for HR consulting project/ tool of the year for their project of GFK Bulgaria;
  • The consortium of companies – “Assarel Medet”, “Aurubis Bulgaria”, “DZI”, “ContourGlobal Maritsa East 3”, “Overgas Inc.”, “Solvay Sodi”, “TechnoLogica”, “CEZ Bulgaria” with a coordinator of Bulgarian network of the United Nations Global Compact won a prize for the best project for integrating the education into business in 2015 for their project “I’m proud with the work of my parents”;
  • Milen Velikov, Human Resources Specialist in Actavis was announced a rising star of the year.
