For less than 2 weeks walking on it, bulgarian produced over 1200KW of electricity Over 200,000 steps made Bulgarians on plates of innovative technology Pavegen, which Johnnie Walker presented for the first time as a closing to the Keep Walking project in Sofia. Installation of tiles that converts kinetic energy from the footsteps of the people in power was opened on March 5 in front of National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" by the Ambassador of Keep Walking project for Bulgaria movie director Yavor Gurdev and Minister of Economy and Energy Traicho Traikov. [18.02.2012] Children of  "Slavia"  won the hockey tournament for "Florina" cup

Hockey tournament for "Florina" cup draws thousands to "Slavia" hall on February 18. The tounament was held in memoriam of Kiril Vajarov, former national team goalkeeper of the whites, for whom he played until his death in 2009. The competition involved over 100 children from 4 to 14 years from schools and kindergartens in the capital. Over eight games were scheduled for the tournament. At the end all children have received awards - the youngest players, the fastest halfbacks, the best defenseman’s and goalies. At the final Slavia’s junior team overcame with 4:3 the NSA team in dramatic match. For the third place hockey team of "Levski" beat CSKA with 3:0. The opening was attended by parents and sports enthusiasts and the CEO of "Florina" Dimitar Gurdjilov. [more]
